Interior Design Consultation

Initial meeting to discuss our process and decide if we can help you is free if you are within 30 minutes of our location (over 30 minutes will be billed drive time at the rate of $50/hr minus 30 minutes “free time”). We are located in York, PA.

At the end of the meeting a $200 consultation deposit is due if you want us to proceed and draw up designs, the design work and follow up consultation will then be billed at the rate of $75 per hour (minus $200 deposit) – After meeting with you, we’ll let you know a cost “cap” for this first step based on our meeting.

We know that clients want to have an idea of the maximum amount they can be charged, and we will put this in writing for you based on our estimate of how much time we feel your design will take. If your project is small, we may cap the max cost for you at $200. If it’s a larger project that cap may be higher. Once we give you a cap, we will not charge you more than that if for some reason our initial design takes longer than we thought. We will very likely come in under the max cap anyway, because we keep detailed records of all time spent and only charge for the time actually spent on your design.

Project Management

For the rate of $75/hour “active time” (and $50/hr drive time) we can work with your contractor to explain the design, check in throughout the project to make sure everything goes as planned, and provide solutions to any unexpected problems that may arise. We can also help you find contractors or assist in other ways throughout the project for the same pricing. This will be invoiced once every two weeks and must be paid promptly within 10 days of receipt.
